Axis Network Camera

Pan Zoom Tilt cameras can be added to the system and each camera features configurable connections for controlling locks, lights, recorders etc. The Axis cameras include all software required for operation including motion dectection and AXIS Camera Explorer to record images and create AVI movies.

Supported by a video server, multiple cameras may be linked together to provide a complete view of a property or installation available anywhere in the world via the Internet.


A network camera is a device that has its own network address and built in computer. All models of the Axis Web Camera contain a Linux based webserver, ftp server, and email client. Remotely configurable via http, this camera can send a continuous stream of video (30 fps at 340x250) or capture motion detected alarm segments to internal memory for later upload via ftp or email to an indicated receiver.

The Axis 2000 series features fully configurable motion detection, superior video quality and two way audio. IP or modem connectivity. Network cameras can be combined with 802.11b sender and receiver units for wireless connectivity. In less accessible applications they can be paired with a power over LAN Midspans unit. Order.
